Susan V. Gonsalves

Susan was born in Eureka, Ca to George and Mary Foster (both deceased). Susan met her husband John E. Gonsalves (deceased) and married him in March of 1964. That same year their only son John P. Gonsalves was born. Susan was the bookkeeper for her husband`s business, named John's Auto Electric, from 1979 until she and John sold the business to her son to retire in 2008. After retirement Susan & John enjoyed remodeling their home in Myrtletown and family trips to the cabin at Ruth Lake. Susan also very much enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Susan is survived by her son John P. Gonsalves and wife Stina, Grandson John J. Gonsalves and wife Kari, Grandson Jacob Loewenthal, and Great Grandchildren J.R., Madaline, Natalie and Briley. Her brother Peter Foster (deceased) brother Steve Foster, sister Valerie Moen, sister Georgia Whitby, sister Barbra Hodges, and sister Deanna Harrison. Her service will be held Tuesday, May 09, 2017 @ 1:30 pm @ Sacred Heart Church on Myrtle Ave in Eureka, Ca. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Hospice of Humboldt or The Cancer Society in her name.
