Mark Walker

Mark Merle Walker was born Sept. 1, 1960 and died on June 24, 2019 at age 58.

Mark grew up in Castro Valley and enjoyed  summer vacations at Sunset View Ranch in Petrolia. He became a farrier and worked at various race tracks training horses. Mark LOVED horses.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Merle Richard Walker and Sandra Rives Walker. He is survived by his sister Sharon Walker Kilby of North Carolina, his niece Ashley Nicole LaHue, aunt Sharon Cunningham of Texas, cousins Susan Levitt, Cheryl Cudney, Lisa Thysell, Richard Cunningham, Gael Cunningham and Katherine Cunningham. 

There will be an appetizer potluck celebration of life for Mark on Sunday Aug 11th at 3 p.m. at Sterling McWhorter’s ranch at 33694 Mattole Rd.
