Robert Hutchinson

My husband, best friend, and soul mate passed away on July 4, 2019. He was born in Long Beach on October 30, 1953. He lived many years in Ukiah. He also lived in Red bluff or nearby for many years, and that’s where we met 30 years ago. We later moved to Eureka, where we have lived for almost 19 years.

He worked at both Eureka Nursing and Rehab and Granada Nursing and Rehab as a Maintenance Supervisor until November 2013.

He is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Betty, his sister Sharon (“Sissy”), his step-daughter Aimee, and many friends and other family members. 

He is survived by me, his wife, Kathy Hutchinson; his daughter, Heather Hutchinson; grandson Jonathan Hutchinson; sisters Robin Ochs (Michael) and Kelly Weldon; brother-in-law Roy Crabtree; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. And his fur-baby Tootsie                                                             

There will be a “Celebration of Life” from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 2, at Merryman’s Beach House — 100 Moonstone Beach Road, Trinidad. Please join us with a story or memory of Bob and a dish to share as it’s a potluck. And please BYOB (bring your own beverage).
