I only met Dau once, at a place outside of Garberville/Redway, CA he'd had; who gave me a copy of his own version of The Ten Commandments. I'll always remember one of those, "Don't be a schmuck" though wish I still had the rest of them, too; along with much of the rest of my belongings, a casualty of a recent eviction.
I hope his music stands to infinity on the internet at Sound Cloud. A joy to listen to, making me wonder if any of his recordings are still available?
