I went to high school with JP. He and I both lived in group homes about a block apart run by the Sacramento Children's Home. He was my best friend in high school, and we had an apartment together when we were going to Sacramento State in the late 1980s. He moved back to Fortuna after the first year. I just found out today that he had died. Lacey, I am so sorry. I know what an utterly kind man he was.
