Godwin Terrie Pitman

Terrie Pitman-Godwin passed away on November 2, after a brief illness. Terrie was born to Lee and Quatye Pitman in Modesto California and was Stanislaus County's New Year baby in 1955. The family moved to McKinleyville, California where Terrie graduated from McKinleyville High in 1974 and lived there until her death. Terrie leaves behind her long time partner Rick McCormick and three children, Tyler Godwin, Lucas Godwin and her Dustin McCormick. She also leaves her mother Quatye Pitman, her sister Jacqui Pitman-Grimes, her brother Gary Pitman, as well as numerous loving relatives and friends. Terrie was preceded in death by her father Lee Pitman and sister Brenda Pitman. Terrie will be remembered as being a kind, loving person who was witty with a unique and special laugh that would light up the room. She was an animal lover and had a rare ability to connect with all animals. We would like to thank all of her friends and family for being there during her illness.
