Humboldt Cremation & Funeral Service is the county's first family owned, funeral home alternative. We specialize in just one thing: simple cremation. Our purpose is to provide you with a lower cost alternative to the costly mortuary and other direct cremation providers. We carry out your wishes simply, very affordably and with dignity.
Cremation is considered a more environmentally friendly option for the final disposition of remains, it also allows for a wide range of final disposition options such as cemetery interment, scattering at sea, or kept at home. Our 5 step Peace-of-Mind cremation safeguards, we help lessen the burden placed on surviving family members at a difficult time.
All cremations are done at our family-owned crematory in Eureka. Your loved one never leaves our care. Our positive identification system insures your peace-of-mind.
We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
Very kind and sympathetic people. Every greeting begins with condolences, they treat you properly and not as if it's "just a job" to them. And I know it's hard to put a price on tragic events but the reality is that it can be very expensive when you lose a loved one. Humboldt Cremation's rates are the lowest around. I will always recommend them.
Isabella was so kind and wonderful to work with. Thank you.
Everyone there is incredibly compassionate and kind, on top of the pricing being extremely reasonable. They really do go above and beyond to help during such a difficult time!
Respectful and kind staff. Everyone was very helpful and kind.
Mark was so kind and easy to talk to and ever ready to help in which ever way that he could.
When I first chose Humboldt Cremation it was the price then after meeting the people they were why I would refer people.
Monique- Thank you so much for all of your help with this difficult process. Your kindness is greatly appreciated when we have so much going on. Not just the death of our Aunt, but our dog and Covid-19 and traveling from out of town. Thank you for the reminder that decent, kind people are still around, Thank you.
We want to thank you so much for everything you did for our family during this horrible time in our lives. Thank you for all of the extra things you helped us with. We so much appreciate all of you. Thank you again.
